Rainforest Studio is a cultural memory technology studio based in the United Kingdom. We operate in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This is a pre-launch marketing site. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect any personal information directly.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are visited and how long sessions last. This helps us understand what content is most useful and improve the site.

We only enable analytics_storage. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or personalisation features.

Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept in the consent banner shown on your first visit. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not collect any data about your visit.

Your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key ga_consent so we do not show the banner on every visit.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage, or by using your browser's developer tools to delete the ga_consent key. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit.

When analytics is enabled, data is sent to Google LLC under Google's privacy policy. Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymisation enabled by default. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not store any analytics data ourselves.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold, and to object to or restrict its processing. As this site collects only anonymised analytics data (and only with your consent), there is typically no personal data to action.
